As part of the Genesis Project, we identified an opportunity to enhance the user experience by designing a centralized dashboard for the platform. The goal was to empower users to view and interact with key metrics related to their data catalogues in a streamlined and intuitive manner. Through extensive user research, we uncovered a pressing need among customers for task-based analytics—insights that not only provided visibility into their data but also facilitated actionable outcomes. This informed our proposal to develop a solution that consolidated critical metrics into a single, user-friendly interface. The dashboard was designed to present dynamic, real-time insights while maintaining contextual relevance by linking directly to the affected data or tasks. This approach ensured that users could seamlessly transition between understanding the analytics and taking the necessary actions, making their workflows more efficient and data-driven. This project highlights our focus on solving complex user needs through thoughtful design, robust user research, and a strong emphasis on actionable insights.
