The visual challenge with dashboards is the control of block sizes and customisation. We created a system for managing how blocks snap to the application grid and resize when other blocks are introduced into the dashboard. For simplicity we also standardised the block sizes into small, medium and large componenets. Some of these can be expanded into a full screen detailed view.
